1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Happy Swipes, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Happy Swipes is a mobile application that allows users to:

Create and share posts about happy moments
Rate their happiness level (1-10 scale)
Connect with friends
View posts based on privacy settings

3. Account Registration

To use Happy Swipes, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age
Provide accurate registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Happy Swipes. By posting content, you grant us a license to display, store, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the service.

4.2 Content Standards

You agree not to post content that:

Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
Violates others' rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.)
Contains spam, malware, or deceptive content
Harasses or bullies others
Is hateful or discriminatory

4.3 Post Deletion

You can delete any of your own posts at any time via the in-app delete functionality. Posts are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

5. Privacy Settings

You can control the visibility of your posts through three privacy levels:

Public: Visible to all Happy Swipes users
Friends: Visible only to users you've accepted as friends
Private: Visible only to you

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Happy Swipes only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Use automated means to access the service (bots, scrapers)
Impersonate others or create fake accounts
Collect or harvest user data

7. Account Termination

7.1 By You

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. You have two options:

In-App Deletion: Go to Settings → Delete Account within the Happy Swipes app. This will immediately and permanently delete your account, all your posts, and friend connections.
Web Request: If you cannot access the app (e.g., forgotten password, lost device), you can request account deletion through our data deletion page or by emailing happyswipesapp@gmail.com. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.

7.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior.

8. Child Safety and Compliance

Happy Swipes is committed to maintaining a safe environment and compliance with child safety standards:

Age Requirement: Users must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By using Happy Swipes, you confirm that you meet this age requirement
Zero Tolerance: We have zero tolerance for content or behavior that exploits, harms, sexualizes, or endangers children in any way
Prohibited Content: Content involving minors in inappropriate contexts, child exploitation material, or grooming behavior is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities
Content Moderation: We actively monitor and moderate content to ensure compliance with child safety standards
Reporting Mechanism: Users can report inappropriate content or concerning behavior within the app via the feedback button on their profile. All reports are investigated promptly
Parental Controls: Parents or guardians who discover their child under 13 has created an account should contact us immediately at happyswipesapp@gmail.com for immediate account removal

Any violation of child safety policies will result in immediate account termination, and serious violations will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement authorities as required by law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Happy Swipes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free service
Complete security or data protection
Accuracy or reliability of user content

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Happy Swipes and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Intellectual Property

The Happy Swipes app, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
